Everyone else describes meaning.
We execute it.
Every company defines what its data means — in schemas, in documentation, in tickets, in semantic layers. Nothing makes those definitions run. API Now turns a data model into a governed, live API where the business rules are enforced by the runtime rather than reimplemented in every application. Raising pre-seed.

Definitions that don't execute are documentation
Business rules live in prose, not in the system. The database enforces types; nothing enforces meaning.
The same rule gets rebuilt three times — schema, application code, gateway policy — and they drift.
Semantic layers describe meaning but carry no behaviour. They catalog without executing.
Agents make it urgent. A human infers the rule; an agent writes whatever the API accepts.
EVERY ENTERPRISE IS NOW ONE AGENT AWAY FROM FINDING THAT OUT.
Five minutes, no code, live endpoint
An agent was given a description of the data. It built the domain, attached semantic modules, and deployed. The recording ends with live HTTP requests. No application code exists in it.

Recorded, not simulated. Built purely using the core engine parser.
The moat is architectural, not procedural
Semantic modules carry behaviour, not annotations. Twenty-two today across seven categories.
One definition, three concerns. Business meaning, structural validation, and runtime behaviour come from one source.
Authorization runs ahead of semantic execution, so a definition can never widen access.
Provisional patent application filed on the tags-to-policies approach.
Demonstrable today: row-level ownership, per-organization physical database isolation, per-action rate limits by role, and field projection — all derived from the model.
BETTER CODE GENERATION DOESN'T ERODE THIS. WE REMOVED THE CODE.
The quadrant nobody else occupies

No meaningful category in Bottom-Right: executing meaning only pays off where data is written and acted on.
Founders, PMs, and data specialists who need a real backend without an engineering team.
Bottom-up self-serve adoption with low programmatic drag.
Invite the organization into shared models and reusable modules.
Honestly, the stage
Platform Live
Platform built and running on managed cloud infrastructure.
Deliberate Beta
Closed beta, gated deliberately while pricing is unset and infrastructure is founder-funded.
Early Onboarding
First design partners onboarding now.
Roadmap Driven
Partner-designed semantic modules shape the roadmap and create an early channel.
A working platform, deployed and running. First design partners onboarding now. An agent-built, live API in five minutes — recorded, not simulated.
What the money does
First engineering hires
Increase shipping capacity and remove founder bottlenecks in the core parser.
Data Governance layer
Context-aware policy above semantic modules: the enterprise roadmap unlock.
Operations scaling
Observability, request-level support tooling, and automated restore pipelines.
Open the beta
Set public pricing tables, establish infrastructure guardrails, and expand self-serve onboarding.
Raising pre-seed. Terms shared in conversation.
Who's building it

Pawel Uchida-Psztyc built Advanced REST Client, an API product adopted by developers worldwide, then spent years building API and data products in the MuleSoft and Salesforce ecosystems. API Now is the company those experiences point toward: define the data once, make the rules execute, and remove the backend a non-engineering team cannot staff.
Founder-led today. The first hires are engineering roles focused on the runtime, platform operations, and the Data Governance roadmap.
